Ethiopia

It is the Water, Stupid! By GE Gorfu

Comment: If we Ethiopians unite, we don't even need a loan from JP Morgan Chase, we can easily finance the money needed to build dams in Ethiopia. This is our country that we are talking about. This is our waters that we are talking about. The Ferenj is the reason why we are landlocked. The ferenj is why we are at war with Eritrea. The Italians are the reason why we are starving!! Enough is Enough. I think we Ethiopians must realize that Egypt and Eritrea are allies on a mission to weaken Ethiopia and must unite and defend our nation. The Eritrean military machine must be annihilated and we Ethiopians must make sure that Eritrea is not used as a staging ground by our enemies to launch an attack on our nation. We must remember that most of the Land mines that were used by Eritrea during the 1998-2000 war were manufactured in Egypt.

We must unite and bulid small dams and large dams anywhere in Ethiopia. We must also build terraces to stop our fertile and top soil from reaching the mouth of the nile. We must build terraces at the sources of our great rivers and keep most of our waters in Ethiopia.

The Ferenj awarded our lands, Badime and others to Eritrea. Who do you think is behind this? The problem is we have a government who litstens to the Ferenj in the name of development. There cannot be a tangible and lasting development unless the Ferenj leaves us alone. We Ethioipians need electricity to develop our country. If the Ferenj is trying to block loans to stop the building of dams that could be used to produce electricity, then I say they are against our long term development endeavors and they should be told in no uncertain terms that this is un acceptable .

This is our river, feeding millions of Arabs thousands of miles away from its source in Tana!!
Click here for more pictures on our river!

And these are our people, starving due to lack of water and electricity!!
And these are Ethiopians working with the enemy to weaken our country!
Ethiopians, we must wake up!!! All I can say is listen to this music!
