As the ancient fossil known as Lucy indicates, that portion of northern East Africa we now call Ethiopia may well have been the cradle of humanity. The oldest known fossils of modern humans, dated at 190,000 years old, have been found there along with the remains of chimplike ancestors who preceded Lucy by more than 2.5 million years.

We Told you So!!! Aybelna'ndo!!!
Land-locked Ethiopia sent its top trade official to Djibouti on Wednesday after the Red Sea state said it would introduce a new tariff on port services.
An Ethiopian government source told The Daily Monitor that Trade and Industry Minister Girma Birru was dispatched after Djibouti unveiled plans to introduce the tariff with effect from August 15.
The country's port is Ethiopia's main gateway for imports and exports after it lost the Red Sea ports of Assab and Masawa when Eritrea won its independence from Ethiopia in 1991.
Ethiopian officials say Djibouti earns about $300 million a year for handling some 4.6 million tones of Ethiopian goods.
Comment: Ethiopia's territorial integrity must be restored now!!! Ethiopia must have an access to the Sea now!!! Three Hundred million dollars could be used to build Hydro-electric powers that could help meet the energy needs of the country. The ports and territories given up by the current government with out the wills of the Ethiopian people must be reinstated now. When Ethiopians raised questions to why the government gave up the ports and land-locked the country, the response from the government officials was that we could use Djibouti's ports, as if it was free of charge! Now we are at the mercy of this tiny Islamic country!!! Ethiopia is in trouble and the trouble has just started!!! Click here to Listen and find out why Ethiopia is land locked and is at the mercy of its enemies for its survival!!

Ethiopia must obliterate The Eritrean Army!!

Djibouti, a country of about 700,000 people, is backed up by France and the United States, both of which have big military bases here. Eritrea, which has a population of five million, is already in a border standoff with Ethiopia and is accused of fueling chaos in Somalia.

The Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has decided to break diplomatic relations with the State of Qatar. This decision has been taken after long observation of Qatar’s activities in the Horn of Africa. Ethiopia has displayed considerable patience towards Qatar’s attempts to destabilize our sub-region and, in particular, its hostile behavior towards Ethiopia. Qatar has now, however, become a major source of instability in the Horn of Africa and more widely.
Comment: Fifty or so years from now, the Arabs will ride their Camels! In the mean time the US and Europeans must realize that it is these oil rich countries who are responsible for the terrorist acts around the world.

After 30 years of bloody civil war, Tigray still bleeding!
It time for the sons and daughters of Atse Yohannes and Alula Aba Nega to wake up and bring the Eritrean regime down. What are waiting for? We have nothing to lose as far I am concerned. The West is not going to come to our rescue, the West is not a partner in our fight to eradicate poverty in Ethiopia. A campaign by the French and Italians to stop the building of dams that will enable us to expand the use of electricity through out the country is one example to why we shouldn't allow the West interfere in our affairs. A nation with out power as we know can't eradicate poverty and feed its people. Electric power is crucial to our development. Let's use our waters for they are ours. We don't get Oil from the Saudis for free, we don't get the proceeds from the Millions of dollars that Egypt earns from its tourist industry.
I suggest that, Ethiopia, as the sole owner of the bulk of the water that flows to the Nile, must start charging the Egyptians and the Sudanese $100 dollars per barrel of water. We can't be told by the Arabs in Egypt not to use our waters when our people are starving from the lack of water when we have plenty of it. We can't be told by the Arabs in Egypt and their allies not to build dams for hydroelectric power in our country.
But, first we must eradicate the threat to our development and existence which is the Shaebia army!!

Ethiopia
Comment: If we Ethiopians unite, we don't even need a loan from JP Morgan Chase, we can easily finance the money needed to build dams in Ethiopia. This is our country that we are talking about. This is our waters that we are talking about. The Ferenj is the reason why we are landlocked. The ferenj is why we are at war with Eritrea. The Italians are the reason why we are starving!! Enough is Enough. I think we Ethiopians must realize that Egypt and Eritrea are allies on a mission to weaken Ethiopia and must unite and defend our nation. The Eritrean military machine must be annihilated and we Ethiopians must make sure that Eritrea is not used as a staging ground by our enemies to launch an attack on our nation. We must remember that most of the Land mines that were used by Eritrea during the 1998-2000 war were manufactured in Egypt.
We must unite and bulid small dams and large dams anywhere in Ethiopia. We must also build terraces to stop our fertile and top soil from reaching the mouth of the nile. We must build terraces at the sources of our great rivers and keep most of our waters in Ethiopia.
The Ferenj awarded our lands, Badime and others to Eritrea. Who do you think is behind this? The problem is we have a government who litstens to the Ferenj in the name of development. There cannot be a tangible and lasting development unless the Ferenj leaves us alone. We Ethioipians need electricity to develop our country. If the Ferenj is trying to block loans to stop the building of dams that could be used to produce electricity, then I say they are against our long term development endeavors and they should be told in no uncertain terms that this is un acceptable .
This is our river, feeding millions of Arabs thousands of miles away from its source in Tana!!
Click here for more pictures on our river!
And these are our people, starving due to lack of water and electricity!!
And these are Ethiopians working with the enemy to weaken our country!
Ethiopians, we must wake up!!! All I can say is listen to this music!

Ethiopia
Comment :There was no need and there is no need for UNMEE. What the hell is wrong with the Ethiopian government? If there was a reasonable person in the Ethiopian government, they could have used this opportunity as an excuse to make the Algiers agreement null and void. They are once again allowing the UN to accomplish its mission of awarding our lands in the border areas to Eritrea. Meles and Sebhat must go. We need nationalists to take over the government and deal with the Eritrean issue with out the involvement of the UN. Eritreans don't have a land that they consider theirs in Ethiopia, in fact, Eritrea belongs to Ethiopia and it is time for Ethiopians to march towards the Red Sea.

A Man who decapitated Ethiopia can't preach Ethiopiawinet
In Democratic countries, individuals who are found to have commited some sort of crime are not allowed to participate in the political process. In my mind, a person who fought for 17 years to decapitate our country and who helped create a terrorist state out of the northern most province of our country can't be a champion of Ethiopiawinet. If he was a true Ethiopiawi, he should have left the party that demoralized and weakened the true champions of Ethiopiawinet.
If Seye truly regretts what he did to mama Ethiopia was wrong, he must appologize and we will accept his appology, but we don't like to hear from Kiros Phd about Ethiopiawinet, who is a known supporter of the ONLF, a terrorist group and anti-Ethiopiawinet. Kiros Phd as an advocate of Kinijit can't lecture us about Ethiopiawinet.

ንዕቐት!!!
This man is sick and makes me sick to my stomach. The Ethiopian people must not allow this man to win. I read that some Kinijit supporters are talking about Ethiopiawinet while they are behind the notorious bill which is sponsored by none other than Donald Payne to weaken our country. We need a strong government in Ethiopia which stands for its people and is capable of stopping congressional predators like Donald Payne from meddling in our country's affairs. All parties that have a known relationship with Donald Payne and other enemies of Ethiopia must be barred from taking part in the political arena of our country. Take a look here what Donald Payne is doing not far from the trenches where the Ethiopian troops are stationed!! This guy is determined to destroy Ethiopia.

Use of force is the only way to claim our ports back

If the Israelites can come back and create a new country called Israel, Ethiopians must also be allowed to claim back their Coastal areas by legal means if possible, if not by force, that they have owned since the biblical period. The Europeans have committed horrific crimes when they were grabbing lands from sovereign countries like Ethiopia. The map they created for Ethiopia carving out the coastal areas is evil and was designed to weaken our country and is not acceptable to any Ethiopian.

The region's Vice-President, Abadi Zemo, says this makes promoting economic development very difficult.
"Tigray is located up in the north. We have an advantage - we are located much closer to the sea than other towns.
"But having this situation between us and Eritrea, it has put us in a very odd situation," he says.
"An investor, when he comes to Tigray, he sees there is no war and there is no peace - that investor prefers to invest in the south.
"Had it been normal, Tigray might have been the best region in Ethiopia for investment."
Comment: Mr. Abadi Zemo, you are one of the reasons why we are landlocked, you are the reason why we are in a very odd situation, you are the reason why Tigray is under the clouds of war. You are the reason why we lost Badime. So, what is the solution, Mr Abadi Zemo? You must have a solution, right?
Why do you think being closer to the sea has an advantage? Weren't you the ones who were preaching that there is no advantage of owning a port and we could always use Djibouti's ports and we would be all right? Thank you for admitting that being closer to the sea or owning a port has an economic advantage!!!

Seye can't be a hero for playing a major role in ceding Eritrea
When Shaebia blocked about 70, 000 starving Tigrians from entering Sudan in the 1984 famine, Seye and his comrades did nothing, and as a result, about 50, 000 Tigrians were left to die both from starvation and bombardment by Derg Air force.
- Seye and his comrades are the reason why Ethiopia is landlocked.
- Seye and his comrades did nothing to stop Shaebia from killing poor Tigrians during and after the fall of Derg.
- Too late for Seye to act as a patriot for he is one of the engineers of the separation of Eritrea from Ethiopia.
- TPLF did more harm than good to Tigrians and Ethiopians, where Seye was one of the decision makers.
- A genuine hero is one who stands and defends the integrity and sovereignty of his country, and Seye did none of that.
- A genuine hero would rather die than allow his country become land locked and Seye is not one.
- Seye allowed Shaebia and Eritreans to be the sole beneficiaries of the sacrifices of tens of thousands of Tigrians.
Seye displaced and separated Tigrian families. Those families that were affected by Seye and his comrades decisions know what I am talking about. They are still suffering and living thousands of kilometers apart from each other. This doesn't make him a hero. Having been one of the architects of the secession of Eritrea doesn't make him a hero.
He would have been a hero if he opposed the decision of his organization to cede Eritrea . He would have been a hero if he stood and fought for the integrity and sovereignty of Ethiopia. In my judgement, no one in the leadership of TPLF is a hero. They all fought to facilitate the secession of our northern most province thereby land locking our ancient nation. This is the only achievement of their 17 years of struggle. They made it easier for Shaebia and enemies of Ethiopia to declare victory. Shaebia would have been completely annihilated by Derg's "NEBELBAL" and our security and integrity would not been compromised. TPLF played a major role in defending Shaebia during "Selahata Worar" and I am sure Seye was there to rescue Shaebia , and as you all know, taking part in a fight to defend and rescue a separatist group doesn't make one a hero, in fact that makes him a traitor.
And now, if he(Seye) has been seen with individuals like Berhanu Nega and his supporters, well, I might as well start "Salsay Woyane." I say enough is enough. Tigrians have suffered during your 17 years as a guerrilla fighter. You don't represent Tigrians and it is time for you and all TPLF leaders to apologize for the suffering that the people of Tigray endured during the past 30 years. It is time for you and your comrades to leave Tigrians alone and go to a retirement village.
You guys screwed up big time. Ethiopia's national security is at risk because of your stupid decision to cede Eritrea endangering the livelyhood of Ethiopians. We have no ports because of you, Mr. Seye Abraha. We are landlocked because of your poor decision, Mr. Seye Abraha. Do you understand the economic impact of being land locked? Now Ethiopia is at the mercy of its hostile neighbors for its imports and exports. Do you understand that denying Ethiopians an access to the sea is the crime of the Millennium?
Is Seye a hero?
According to Miriam Webster's Dictionary, Hero is: 1 a: a mythological or legendary figure often of divine descent endowed with great strength or ability b: an illustrious warrior c: a man admired for his achievements and noble qualities d: one that shows great courage
A hero is a man or woman (then often called a heroine), traditionally the protagonist of a story, legend or saga, commonly possessed of powers far beyond that of a standard human, which enable him or her to perform some truly extraordinary, beneficial deed (an "heroic deed") for which he or she is famous. These powers are sometimes not only of the body but also of the mind. Heroes are typically opposed by villains. ( http://www.websters-online-dictionary.org/definition/hero)
In the last 30 years, the people of Tigray have been through a lot. Over 100, 000 Tigrians were displaced by Derg and forcefully taken to south western Ethiopia. Many of them didn't make it to Tigray. A number of them crossed the border to Sudan and many of them died on their way back to Tigray. Thousands of them died while they were aboard the Russian made Antonov and many of them were killed by the locals upon arrival. Tigrians were paying the ultimate sacrifice while Seye and company were defending Shaebia's last line of defence. Tigrians died in the thousands while TPLF leaders were busy trying to save Shaebia's stronghold, Nakfa. While Tigrian farmers were dying or being displaced by Derg, the future of Tigray, the best and the brightest were being slaughtered in Eritrea while trying to save Shaebia . If seye was a man of courage, if Seye is a hero, as many of you portray him to be, he should have made a courageous decision and at least tried to stop the deployment of Tigrian Tegadelti to Eritrea.
Seye and his comrades created a monster, as a result, the people of Tigray are still under the clouds of war. Seye can't tell us, after committing the crime of the millennium, that he is for the sovereignty of Ethiopia. He should have raised this issue right after the fall of the Derg in 1991 and allowed all Ethiopians to make a decision on the fate of Eritrea.
Seye was in power when his party was fighting for and endorsing the secession of Eritrea from its motherland; therefore, I don't know about you, but he is not my hero, for denying Ethiopia an access to the sea is not truly an Extraordinary, beneficial deed (heroic deed) to the people of Ethiopia!
